The Shannon company will provide Irish tourism videos on all Aer Lingus North America flights
This Aer Lingus deal follows contracts signed with Emirates & IrishCentral in 2021
InflightFlix International Ltd. announced an inflight entertainment destination content deal with Aer Lingus (12 January 2023). InflightFlix videos on board Aer Lingus aircraft will feature 500 Irish tourism experiences covering every corner of Ireland and destination guides for two UK cities and 11 transatlantic destinations.
This agreement follows an initial partnership from 2018, where InflightFlix produced Wild Atlantic Way and Dublin video guides for Aer Lingus. The distribution deal is a massive boost for tourism in Ireland. InflightFlix will promote 500 reasons to visit Ireland, listing ten reasons to visit each of the 32 counties and 50 things to do. The videos will also include places to stay and shops in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, and Galway.
Two hundred small Irish tourism businesses have previously signed up. The new affordable platform provides access to airline inflight entertainment systems, which were previously unattainable on smaller budgets. InflightFlix signed a similar agreement with Emirates in 2021, with content coming online in 2023.
