Alvi Liguria Trail
Alvi Liguria Trail is a stage race that follows the route of the ‘Alta Via dei Monti Liguri’ mountains, from Portovenere to Dolcecqua. Over a period of eight days, between the 10th and the 17th of June 2017, Alvi Trail will cover a distance of 370 km and an altitude of around 14,000 meters. This unique race is renowned for the incredible path it covers, facing the Ligurian Sea on one side and the Alps on the other. Participants can attend the eight stages of the entire route but they are also given the option to race for a single day or only during the weekend.
24h MTB Championship Finale Ligure
The 24 hours Mountain Bike Championship of Finale Ligure is the biggest 24h MTB race in Europe. This year it will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of June 2017. MTB lovers can choose between solo and team races and test their limits in a unique competition that runs nonstop for 24 hours. You don’t need to be a competitive athlete to participate, this exciting event is also open to non-professionals thanks to a dedicated touristic circuit.
Alta Via Stage Race
Also set in June 2017, from the 17th the 24th, Alta Via Stage Race is another exciting bike racing competition. One hundred athletes from eight different European countries are ready to ride across the Liguria region along the ridge trail of Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, from Ceparana (La Spezia) to Dolceacqua (Imperia). Now in its 6th edition, Alta Via Stage Race will run over a 9 days period, with 8 stops and a total of 500 km across the Ligurian hinterland in a panoramic setting facing the sea.
