The city of Nice has one of the largest hotel complexes in France. In addition to the major renovations undertaken each year by the sector (Le Méridien Nice**** has completed its own), several hotel creation projects have been initiated. Between now and 2022, some 1,500 new rooms will be built, notably in the new Grand Arénas district, to the west of Nice.
In December 2020, the opening of the B&B Hôtel Nice Aéroport Arénas*** near the airport (167 rooms) marked the start of a long series that will see, in 2021, the inauguration of a Crowne Plaza**** (129 rooms) and a Holiday Inn Express Nice- Grand Arénas*** (131 rooms) and the LOKO*** hotel (54 rooms) in the city centre.
